Parenting Pearls with Savannah Leas

At Copper Pearl, we celebrate the incredible journey of parenting by sharing heartfelt stories and valuable insight from our amazing community.  Each week, we dive into the unique experiences and memorable moments that make up the beautiful mosaic of parenthood.  Through these stories, we gather and share precious “Parenting Pearls” - those little gems of wisdom that offer inspiration, support, and a touch of magic to fellow parents.

Tell us a bit about yourself and your family.

I am Savannah, I am 24 years old and live in Herriman, UT!  I have a husband named Dominick and a 4-month-old named Rome.  Can’t forget our 5 year old Golden Doodle “A Boy Named Sue”.  We love to do what all Utahns do and that’s be outside!  Hiking, hammocking, lake days, or even just hanging out in the yard!  We also love visiting the local farmers markets.

Which Copper Pearl products are your go-tos?

Rome lives in the bibs - he has one of match every outfit!  The binky clips are also a staple to our everyday activities.  One of the first things I bought when I found out I was pregnant was a swaddle and binky clips from Copper Pearl!

What has been the most memorable moment in your parenting journey so far?

I would say Rome’s first smile.  Having someone you grew smile at you is one of the best things I have ever experienced.  He just learned how to roll and seeing his excitement is so fun!  Every day with him is the best.

Savannah’s Parenting Pearl:

Routines!  I had an emergency C-section and gripping a routine along with a feeding schedule was hard at first.  Now, our days go by with ease!

What is your favorite parenting hack?

Make nap time, YOUR time.  Not cleaning time!  Read a book, drink some tea, do a 17 step skin care routine!

How do you find support and community in your parenting journey?

My husband has been my primary support.  As new parents, you might feel unsure if you are doing things right or what’s best.  Reaching out to my sister who is a mom of two has been great help; I ask her almost anything and everything.
